The audience thought a goal was coming when Wit Dziewedik got free with Carlo Vulcano in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lewis Pilgrim in the 7th minute of play forced KS Ruch Chorzów's goalkeeper Witalis Bazan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witalis Bazan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeff Carey-Bertram, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Witalis Bazan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simeon Bancroft in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Teobald Dyczkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Vulcano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clive Clayton to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute Teobald Dyczkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Vulcano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW's goalkeeper Carlo Vulcano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michal Miazga. 45 minutes into the match, FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW's goal looked a bit too open when Teobald Dyczkowski came free, but Carlo Vulcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Jeff Carey-Bertram received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Witalis Bazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in KS Ruch Chorzów's zone, Simeon Bancroft stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Witalis Bazan came out of the goal and Simeon Bancroft tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaroslaw Marchlewicz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. FC KAKAROTTO DYNÓW's Carlo Vulcano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Kissel in the 81st minute of play. A collision led to KS Ruch Chorzów getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Bogdan Gdaniec hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Clive Clayton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlo Vulcano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Dziewedik in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Jaroslaw Marchlewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Ruch Chorzów's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaroslaw Marchlewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Wit Dziewedik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlo Vulcano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Teobald Dyczkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Vulcano having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
