José Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Peyo in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Benedito Caetano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PLURAL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cervezanegra A.C. the free kick. If Rene Txaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cervezanegra A.C.'s Vladimiro Peyo got a free kick in the 18th minute. Caio Caiado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Xacintu having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Luken got free with José Ramos in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. PLURAL's José Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save PLURAL from getting a goal against them. Benedito Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Marciano Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Atauri hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cervezanegra A.C.'s Emilio Haritzeder got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 49th minute of the match PLURAL got a corner. Cervezanegra A.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aristides Machado ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caio Caiado to make the kick off. Marciano Xacintu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caio Caiado in the 59th minute. When Aristides Machado came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the PLURAL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Machado couldn't finish the play. Caio Caiado struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Marciano Xacintu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PLURAL. If Caio Caiado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Cervezanegra A.C. defense, Caio Caiado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marciano Xacintu. The Cervezanegra A.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marciano Xacintu should have stopped the shot. After 71 minutes, Aristides Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PLURAL and the Cervezanegra A.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Aristides Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 72nd minute of the match Aristides Machado completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aristides Machado a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Aristides Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Benedito Caetano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to PLURAL getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Nuno Taveira hit a great ball. Rene Txaran kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A hard shot 81 in the game by Benedito Caetano from a close distance when the talented Marciano Xacintu managed to make a qualified save. Cervezanegra A.C.'s players were relieved. With a little luck, Cervezanegra A.C.'s Marciano Xacintu got control of the ball when Caio Caiado tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Nuno Taveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Leandro Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot. PLURAL's supporters rose to their feet, but Leandro Falcão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Xacintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, PLURAL's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Luken came free, but José Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Cervezanegra A.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PLURAL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
