Espen Steelers's Gaetano Rothstein got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Aristides Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. PLURAL's supporters rose to their feet, but Aristides Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Akira Schmid breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Espen Steelers getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Max Frisch hit a great ball. Akira Schmid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Caiado, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Akira Schmid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Caetano in the 46th minute of the match. José Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freeman Mächler in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Caio Caiado did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-2 to the left of a surprised Akira Schmid 53 minutes into the match.
