With his leg Wictor Hagström managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when KS Ruch Chorzów's Wit Dziewedik fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Kling in the 39th minute of play forced KS Ruch Chorzów's goalkeeper Witalis Bazan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Isac Christoffersson sped through KS Ruch Chorzów's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Witalis Bazan. In the 45th match minute, KS Ruch Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaroslaw Pietrowiak to maneuver through the defense.
