Hristo Stoichkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 4 played minutes Ripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Gaizko. Ripa FC's Simon Martxelin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Ganix in the 7th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Ripa FC's Ildefonso Bordat seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ildefonso Bordat the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ripa FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ildefonso Bordat had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Ripa FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Villa La Perla:s goal. 8 minutes into the match, Pelle Maradona notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ripa FC's Simon Martxelin. Simon Martxelin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Villa La Perla getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alonzo Ganix hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Francisco Sendoa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ripa FC's Simon Martxelin. Simon Martxelin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hristo Stoichkov charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hristo Stoichkov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Ripa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hristo Stoichkov to maneuver through the defense. In the 35thth minute of the game Anselmo Atarrabi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa La Perla's Adan Bembe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute Francisco Sendoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Martxelin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucas Bernardi hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Sendoa in the 42nd minute of play forced Ripa FC's goalkeeper Simon Martxelin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45thth minute of the game Pelle Maradona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ripa FC's Simon Martxelin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venancio Santio hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes Villa La Perla got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Santio. Ripa FC's Justo Quinten got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Confesor was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Villa La Perla's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Confesor came free, but Adan Bembe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ripa FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Lucas Bernardi hit a great ball. Rogelio Confesor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Simon Martxelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Tuste in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Ripa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Tuste came free, but Simon Martxelin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simon Martxelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Ganix, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Alonzo Ganix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Simon Martxelin made a huge save. Simon Martxelin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Ganix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th match minute, Villa La Perla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Policarpio to maneuver through the defense. If Rogelio Confesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Rogelio Confesor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ripa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After a rather tough play, Villa La Perla's Erubiel Gaitan got a free kick in the 78th minute. Justo Quinten was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Simon Martxelin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Tuste in the 85th minute of play. With a little luck, Ripa FC's Simon Martxelin got control of the ball when Alonzo Ganix tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Pelle Maradona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Bernardi during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes Ripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Bernardi. In the 96th minute, Venancio Santio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Villa La Perla's zone, Justo Quinten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Bembe came out of the goal and Justo Quinten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Villa La Perla had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
