Marciano Xacintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Sauerberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 played minutes Cervezanegra A.C. got a freekick which was hit by David Atauri. Dominik Sauerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Marciano Xacintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's Andres Ambühl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marciano Xacintu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andres Ambühl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Xacintu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Falko Reimann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dominik Sauerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Cervezanegra A.C.'s Marciano Xacintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dominik Sauerberg in the 30th minute of play. Andres Ambühl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Xacintu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Marciano Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Sauerberg in the 38th minute of the match. If Gaetano Rothstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Andres Ambühl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rene Txaran was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 45th minute Andres Ambühl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Xacintu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Octavio Luken fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cervezanegra A.C.'s protests and gave Octavio Luken a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Cervezanegra A.C. defense, Dominik Sauerberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marciano Xacintu. The Cervezanegra A.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marciano Xacintu should have stopped the shot. The Cervezanegra A.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Espen Steelers were winning 0-4.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavino Rico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marciano Xacintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Sauerberg in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Arnaldo Harri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marciano Xacintu was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Dominik Sauerberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dominik Sauerberg really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. With a little luck, Cervezanegra A.C.'s Marciano Xacintu got control of the ball when Andres Ambühl tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabian Schär in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marciano Xacintu saved Cervezanegra A.C. from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Dominik Sauerberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dominik Sauerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Cervezanegra A.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andres Ambühl fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Fabian Schär managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espen Steelers's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabian Schär was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Xacintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabian Schär's late challenge caught a Cervezanegra A.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Schär helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Schär to maneuver through the defense. Marciano Xacintu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freeman Mächler, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the Cervezanegra A.C. defense, Andres Ambühl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marciano Xacintu. After having played for 92 minutes, Freeman Mächler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espen Steelers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freeman Mächler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Freeman Mächler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cervezanegra A.C.'s Marciano Xacintu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Cervezanegra A.C. from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 98 in the game by Andres Ambühl from a close distance when the talented Marciano Xacintu managed to make a qualified save. Cervezanegra A.C.'s players were relieved. When the final whistle sounded Espen Steelers left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cervezanegra A.C..
