Lucas Bernardi's late challenge caught a Villa La Perla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Bernardi kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Villa La Perla's Pelle Maradona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ripa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Justo Quinten was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Bembe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
