Gaetano Rothstein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaetano Rothstein in the 5th minute of play forced Black Knights FC's goalkeeper Salvador Pack to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Pack didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabian Schär went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Dominik Sauerberg took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Salvador Pack. Salvador Pack dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Salvador Pack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Aregger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Erasmo Emesto got a free kick in the 19th minute. Akira Schmid acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Raymundo Kirkland. Akira Schmid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Mayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Akira Schmid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Riggs in the 27th minute of play. Dan Riggs kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Caleb Stahl charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caleb Stahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabian Schär struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Salvador Pack didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espen Steelers. Black Knights FC's Salvador Pack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Schär in the 37th minute of play. Salvador Pack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Aregger, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Ferguson was the one to do the kick off. Fabian Schär could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Salvador Pack made a huge save. Salvador Pack showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Schär in the 53rd minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Black Knights FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Schär came free, but Salvador Pack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Salvador Pack made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael Aregger in the 59th minute. Espen Steelers's Akira Schmid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Riggs in the 62nd minute of play. The referee showed Raphael Aregger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when Black Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Mathews didn't get a good kick on the ball. Salvador Pack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaetano Rothstein in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Black Knights FC defense, Fabian Schär kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Salvador Pack. The Black Knights FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Salvador Pack should have stopped the shot. Espen Steelers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
