The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Confesor was the one to do the kick off. Ripa FC's Simon Martxelin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lewis Pilgrim in the 83rd minute of play. Hristo Stoichkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Carlo Vulcano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Anselmo Atarrabi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carlo Vulcano. Anselmo Atarrabi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-2. In the 90th minute, Rogelio Confesor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ripa FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
