The referee showed Ciriaco Evis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Big Babousa's Ciriaco Evis got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Big Babousa's Monico Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Nascimento in the 4th minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Big Babousa's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Nascimento came free, but Monico Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Mário Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Monico Montoya. Big Babousa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mário Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Juan Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roceira SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Monico Montoya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roceira SC's Fausto Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Big Babousa's Salvador Lizer was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 22nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 26 played minutes Big Babousa got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Inocente. In the 47th match minute, Big Babousa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Gomesano to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salvador Lizer was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Nascimento in the 55th minute of play forced Big Babousa's goalkeeper Monico Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salvador Lizer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute.
