Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cipriano Lander got the match started through his kick off. If Cipriano Lander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Lucio Baladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th match minute, CLATHU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anastasio Frans to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Bazil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bernabe Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Lizer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bernabe Bazil came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Big Babousa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe Bazil couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciriaco Evis during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 33 minutes into the match, CLATHU's Cristóbal Colon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Salvador Lizer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvador Lizer struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Bernabe Osorio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Big Babousa. Lucio Baladi hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the game, CLATHU's Cipriano Lander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Monico Montoya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind CLATHU's goalkeeper Bernabe Osorio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salvador Lizer was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Salvador Lizer made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. CLATHU's Bernabe Osorio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Monico Montoya made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Cipriano Lander sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute of the match, Emanuel Mingo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Monico Montoya was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Bernabe Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvador Lizer in the 70th minute of play. Silvestre Maurino kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Cipriano Lander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monico Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute Salvador Lizer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Osorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Big Babousa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Salvador Lizer in the 84th minute. After taking down the ball on Big Babousa's corner Teodoro Corderro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bernabe Osorio quite easily take care of the ball. Monico Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Lander, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Big Babousa's zone, Cipriano Lander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Monico Montoya came out of the goal and Cipriano Lander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
