The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Militros F.C.'s Paulão Freire slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Denver Gagnon. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. 7 minutes into the game, Paulão Freire cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Denver Gagnon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dušan Obšut's late challenge caught a Militros F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dušan Obšut helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, JuSi Malacky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dušan Obšut to maneuver through the defense. Ľubomír Čuntala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Paulão Freire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Militros F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Denver Gagnon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes JuSi Malacky's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ronaldão de Azevedo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Ronaldão de Azevedo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JuSi Malacky's Denver Gagnon did a great save. Erasmo Zanussi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ľubomír Čuntala went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Militros F.C.'s Erasmo Zanussi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viktor Kvietkovič in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Militros F.C. defense, Ľubomír Čuntala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Zanussi. The Militros F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Zanussi should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, JuSi Malacky's Denver Gagnon got control of the ball when Anísio Zanussi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulão Freire hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Ľubomír Čuntala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Zanussi. Militros F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ľubomír Čuntala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. A collision led to Militros F.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Didi de Sena hit a great ball.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ľubomír Čuntala to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Militros F.C. defense, Ľubomír Čuntala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Zanussi. The Militros F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Zanussi should have stopped the shot. In the 55th minute of the match, Matej Harvan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erasmo Zanussi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 56th minute, Anísio Zanussi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, JuSi Malacky's goal looked a bit too open when Paulão Freire came free, but Denver Gagnon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Ľubomír Čuntala recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Erasmo Zanussi. Ľubomír Čuntala showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-6. If Paulão Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Militros F.C.'s Erasmo Zanussi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Militros F.C. from getting a goal against them. Viktor Kvietkovič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Erasmo Zanussi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute of the match, Ľubomír Čuntala tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erasmo Zanussi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Denver Gagnon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Freire in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Ľubomír Čuntala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Zanussi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Zanussi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dušan Obšut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Militros F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivan Šimko was slow to take the kick. During this time JuSi Malacky's players had a chance to rest. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched JuSi Malacky eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
