Cayetano Medero started the match with the kick off. Julio Senio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horace Vaughn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Primeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Margarito Santana having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Orval Crow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flames FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With 22 minutes on the clock, Lázaro Walme commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Expresso Ranelagh fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! A collision led to Flames FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ambrose Keen hit a great ball. Cayetano Medero charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cayetano Medero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Expresso Ranelagh getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Cayetano Medero hit a great ball. In the 38th minute Horace Vaughn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Senio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Expresso Ranelagh's Julio Senio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horace Vaughn in the 40th minute of play. Julio Senio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orval Crow, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Horace Vaughn made a kick off. Horace Vaughn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Senio came out and tried to block the shot, but Horace Vaughn slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 53rd minute. 58 minutes into the game, Cirilo Fraco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Expresso Ranelagh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flames FC the free kick. After 58 played minutes Expresso Ranelagh got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Fraco. Orval Crow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Julio Senio made a huge save. Lucio Primeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Primeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Lucio Primeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Expresso Ranelagh getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cayetano Medero hit a great ball. Julio Senio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Lavallée, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Julio Senio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orval Crow's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Julio Senio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horace Vaughn went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Cayetano Medero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Raimundo Austin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Flames FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Expresso Ranelagh.
