Jumeuc Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulão Freire was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The supporters of Militros F.C. booed when Jumeuc Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Arí Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Arí Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Zanussi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
