Spectators: 7721 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cristóvão de Salles took the kick off in the first half of the match. Gil Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. If Claudinei Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Augusto Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio da Costa having to interfere. In the 18th minute Geraldo Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dé Souza was a little too slow when Murillo Bittencourt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elder Vaz in the 28th minute of play forced Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Caio da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dé Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geraldo Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dé Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arlindo Teixeira got free with Dé Souza in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudinei Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Souza having to interfere. When Andrézinho Salgado fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG's protests and gave Andrézinho Salgado a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Salgado. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elder Vaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dé Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG were furious when João Augusto Castro was red carded, 58 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When Erik Donatello came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Abutres 2003 FDP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Donatello couldn't finish the play. Dé Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Nóbrega went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Elder Vaz hit a great ball. Dé Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo Queirós in the 72nd minute of play. Tião de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th match minute, Abutres 2003 FDP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes Grajaú Uai Sôccer MG got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Arce. Abutres 2003 FDP's Cristóvão de Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dé Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Bittencourt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dé Souza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Dé Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After 95 minutes of play, Abutres 2003 FDP's Arlindo Teixeira made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dé Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Abutres 2003 FDP were the better team. Abutres 2003 FDP's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
