In the 11th minute, Konrad Puch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 12 minutes of play, Olimpia HSB's Arkadiusz Czajkowski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richie Verdeces was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cai Redeño succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 22 minutes into the game, Olimpia HSB's Zbigniew Galagan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Richie Verdeces made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 27 minutes into the match, Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Miromir Mikulski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cai Redeño. If Neto Belber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 33rd minute, BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM's Tiro Loco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Miromir Mikulski. Miromir Mikulski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The supporters of Olimpia HSB booed when BARAJAS SOCCER TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neto Belber didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Grucza to make the kick off. Richie Verdeces took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Czajkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Tiro Loco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miromir Mikulski was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Damian Grucza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Richie Verdeces when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 75th minute Konrad Puch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richie Verdeces saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiro Loco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miromir Mikulski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neto Belber in the 86th minute of play forced Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Miromir Mikulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eutor Andino took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miromir Mikulski. Miromir Mikulski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2.
