The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Billy Pihl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Per-Åke Nordstedt came free, but Marco Lixandro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Aaron Fors sped through MORPH's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marco Lixandro. After 13 played minutes Zlatan BK got a freekick which was hit by Per-Åke Nordstedt. Billy Pihl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz in the 18th minute. Patric Persson's late challenge caught a MORPH's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patric Persson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MORPH booed when Zlatan BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patric Persson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Billy Pihl was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustavo-Hernán Garnacho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Billy Pihl. That made the score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. Folke Hellbom hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Estebano got free with Billy Pihl in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Billy Pihl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo-Hernán Garnacho in the 37th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Gustavo-Hernán Garnacho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Billy Pihl was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aaron Fors was the one to do the kick off. Fabio Meder kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After 56 minutes, Gustavo-Hernán Lanzini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MORPH and the Zlatan BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. MORPH's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zlatan BK the free kick. When the referee ended the match the MORPH players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
