After 15 played minutes, Stiinta-Univ.'s Mircea Creangă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jefferson Goiano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stiinta-Univ. reached it. Manuel Burdujan scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jefferson Goiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Xiboquinha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Burdujan came free, but Jefferson Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xiboquinha FC's Jefferson Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Muntean in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Manuel Burdujan made a precise shot to the right of Jefferson Goiano. Xiboquinha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Manuel Burdujan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jefferson Goiano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Meireles in the 31st minute of play forced Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Silviu Lung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Manuel Burdujan notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Xiboquinha FC's Jefferson Goiano. Jefferson Goiano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Irinel Itoafă took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jefferson Goiano. Jefferson Goiano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Quintal to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hélder Meireles in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silviu Lung saved Stiinta-Univ. from getting behind. Tomás Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xiboquinha FC's Jefferson Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Xiboquinha FC from getting a goal against them. Laurențiu Muntean kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Lopez. With a little luck, Xiboquinha FC's Jefferson Goiano got control of the ball when Aristide Pupăzan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jefferson Goiano was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Laurențiu Muntean capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Laurențiu Muntean really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Marcel Bărcăuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Irinel Itoafă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jefferson Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Mircea Creangă got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jefferson Goiano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jefferson Goiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Burdujan's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. If Hélder Meireles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laurențiu Muntean received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jefferson Goiano came out and tried to block the shot, but Laurențiu Muntean slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 80th minute. Manuel Burdujan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Jefferson Goiano made a huge save.
