Stiinta-Univ.'s Silviu Lung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Lore in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, La Bichineta's Joaquin Lore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silviu Lung made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ovidiu Borza hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Manuel Burdujan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Eduardo Jordy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. La Bichineta's Victorio Katia got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Itoafă in the 27th minute of play forced La Bichineta's goalkeeper Eduardo Jordy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silviu Lung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Lore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute La Bichineta were awarded a corner. Joaquin Lore went to the cornerflag to take it. La Bichineta's Moises Pereyra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silviu Lung in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Silviu Lung stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquin Lore's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquin Lore in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silviu Lung prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goalkeeper Eduardo Jordy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Burdujan. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Manuel Burdujan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Burdujan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Jordy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Irinel Itoafă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stiinta-Univ.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Bichineta the free kick. A collision led to Stiinta-Univ. getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Horaţiu Corduneanu hit a great ball. La Bichineta's Eduardo Jordy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidiu Borza in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidiu Borza came free, but Eduardo Jordy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th match minute, La Bichineta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Mateo to maneuver through the defense. Ovidiu Borza struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. In the 92nd minute Manuel Burdujan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Burdujan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ovidiu Borza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched La Bichineta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
