Spectators: 7686 (Terracing: 5765, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joaquin Lore started the match with the kick off. Eduardo Jordy came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Buenaventura FC's Romel Torrijos. But to his dismay, Romel Torrijos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eduardo Jordy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Martinez in the 6th minute of play. When Roger Martinez came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Buenaventura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Martinez couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in La Bichineta's zone, Roger Martinez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Jordy came out of the goal and Roger Martinez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Jordy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrés Chavez, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The supporters of La Bichineta booed when Buenaventura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonidas Moscoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Moises Pereyra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Bichineta's Eduardo Jordy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrés Chavez in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Andrés Chavez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Jordy was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Eduardo Jordy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrés Chavez, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Juan Mendieta hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Cheito Brandao got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 45th minute Andrés Chavez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Leonidas Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Lore in the 54th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Fernan Mateo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Bichineta and the Buenaventura FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leonidas Moscoso hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Andrés Chavez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Eduardo Jordy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, La Bichineta's Jorge Suero got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute of the match, Roger Martinez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eduardo Jordy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Roger Martinez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buenaventura FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Martinez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Jordy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 75 played minutes Buenaventura FC got a freekick which was hit by Juan Mendieta. When Roger Martinez came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Buenaventura FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Martinez couldn't finish the play. Eduardo Jordy was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Roger Martinez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roger Martinez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After 86 played minutes La Bichineta got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Suero. Eduardo Jordy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andrés Chavez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 88 minute of play. After some careless play in the La Bichineta defense, Andrés Chavez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Jordy. The La Bichineta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Jordy should have stopped the shot. Leonidas Barrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Lore in the 97th minute of the match.
