If Ron Everaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Peter Rutgeerts went to the cornerflag to take it. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Marcelo Gallardo got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Angel Comizzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robbie Yom's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Delmiro Porfirio hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. FC Klavertje Vier's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Osvaldo Goren scored to the left of an out of position Karl Schautens, making the score, 0-1. In the 75th minute, Erik Deckkers made a precise shot to the right of Angel Comizzo. Menchu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Menchu FC's Felipe Quentin was substituted for Osvaldo Goren. 79 minutes in the game Max Eggermont did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Peter Rutgeerts. In the 80th match minute, FC Klavertje Vier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Eggermont to maneuver through the defense. Karl Schautens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Quentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
