Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when György Kósa got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Menchu FC's zone, Marcos Herrera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Comizzo came out of the goal and Marcos Herrera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rosendo Tabby during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to LegionArgentina getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Rosendo Tabby hit a great ball. Saul Osoitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Osvaldo Goren's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Menchu FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leandro Gonzalez Pirez in the 8th minute. Menchu FC's Vicente Noe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Saul Osoitz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 12 minutes into the match, LegionArgentina's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Goren came free, but Saul Osoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Marcos Herrera recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Angel Comizzo. Marcos Herrera showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 21st minute Osvaldo Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Goren scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saul Osoitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Menchu FC were furious when Timoteo Colas was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 32nd match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Colas to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 33 minutes, Rosendo Tabby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LegionArgentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Tabby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Eulalio Fidensio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Goren in the 39th minute of play forced LegionArgentina's goalkeeper Saul Osoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Comizzo made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Froilan Arnas sent off a good shot on target. Angel Comizzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from György Kósa in the 46th minute of play.
In the 52nd play minute Osvaldo Goren came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Saul Osoitz. 1-2. After having played for 55 minutes, Osvaldo Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menchu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Goren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Herrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Marcos Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Comizzo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vicente Noe fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menchu FC's protests and gave Vicente Noe a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Vicente Noe got a free kick in the 60th minute. Menchu FC's Angel Comizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Kósa in the 61st minute of play. If Osvaldo Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Saul Osoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Goren in the 66th minute of play. Menchu FC's Angel Comizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Kósa in the 69th minute of play. In the last second Saul Osoitz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Osvaldo Goren in the 71stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 72nd match minute, LegionArgentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Beti to maneuver through the defense. Angel Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from György Kósa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Goren in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Osvaldo Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80thth minute of the game Osvaldo Goren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LegionArgentina's Saul Osoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Goren in the 82nd minute of play forced LegionArgentina's goalkeeper Saul Osoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Menchu FC's Osvaldo Goren got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Marcelo Gallardo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Menchu FC made a substitution. Felipe Quentin replaced Osvaldo Goren. In the 86th minute, Marcelo Gallardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Menchu FC's Angel Comizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by György Kósa in the 95th minute of play. Menchu FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
