Buenaventura FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Pedro Mantorras scored 3-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonidas Barrera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 18 minutes in the game Leonidas Moscoso did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rolando Pinilla. Leonidas Barrera made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Pedro Mantorras sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Buenaventura FC booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Bentes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 played minutes Buenaventura FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonidas Moscoso. Pedro Mantorras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute, Rolando Pinilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Buenaventura FC booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Luis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 36 minutes, Pedro Mantorras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terceirense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Mantorras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Pedro Mantorras came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Terceirense F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Mantorras couldn't finish the play. After 46 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by António Fontes.

The wind increased when Pedro Mantorras made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Buenaventura FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Leonidas Moscoso hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, Pedro Mantorras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Leonidas Barrera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Mantorras in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, Terceirense F.C.'s Pedro Mantorras made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonidas Barrera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Terceirense F.C.'s Angelo Guerreiro was substituted for Mário Rijo. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Robert Enke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Moscoso got a free kick in the 85th minute. Terceirense F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
