The Huns's Martin Pânzaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Urbano in the 3rd minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Edinho da Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Calistrat Vulcan. After a rather tough play, The Huns's Ciprian Chitimia got a free kick in the 24th minute. Martin Pânzaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Sena in the 25th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Edinho da Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Moromete. Edinho da Rocha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcel Moromete showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 35 minute of play. Calistrat Vulcan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Edinho da Rocha 38 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iustin Perșa was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Horácio Barral during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Pânzaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wesley Mangueira in the 54th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Valentin Dumitrescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Huns's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carrossel Caipira the free kick. Wesley Mangueira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 72nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Vulcan in the 76th minute of play forced Carrossel Caipira's goalkeeper Edinho da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 played minutes The Huns got a freekick which was hit by Hunor Bela. 81 minutes into the match, Carrossel Caipira's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Perșa came free, but Edinho da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 83rd minute of the match Petruț Răduleț completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Petruț Răduleț a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Petruț Răduleț hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th match minute, The Huns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vali Ştefănică to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 88 minutes, Ciprian Chitimia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Huns's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciprian Chitimia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Paulão Veiga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carrossel Caipira's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
