Ruben Rolink showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Balotelli in the 4th minute of the match. Ilazki Esquivel charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ilazki Esquivel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th minute, Ilazki Esquivel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, AFC Viola Gigliati's Min Ordoña got control of the ball when Chiel Donderwinkel tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, AFC Viola Gigliati's goalkeeper Min Ordoña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacco van Dartel. In the 13th minute Chiel Donderwinkel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Min Ordoña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ilazki Esquivel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Rolink having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, MK Investments's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Balotelli came free, but Ruben Rolink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, MK Investments was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Pascal Bults shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Min Ordoña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ilazki Esquivel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 24 minutes had been played. MK Investments's Gert Zomerdijk was substituted for Edwin Wisgerhof. The supporters of MK Investments booed when AFC Viola Gigliati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilazki Esquivel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Min Ordoña successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 28 played minutes AFC Viola Gigliati got a freekick which was hit by Enrico Cicero. Min Ordoña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascal Bults, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacco van Dartel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Min Ordoña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Quentin Odoardo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Vince Seaward was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MK Investments's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Viola Gigliati the free kick. A collision led to MK Investments getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Vince Seaward hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, MK Investments's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Balotelli came free, but Ruben Rolink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruben Rolink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Balotelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacco van Dartel took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Min Ordoña. Min Ordoña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 46th match minute, MK Investments was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascal Bults to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Jacco van Dartel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AFC Viola Gigliati's Min Ordoña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chiel Donderwinkel in the 55th minute of play. Min Ordoña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacco van Dartel in the 59th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, AFC Viola Gigliati's goal looked a bit too open when Jacco van Dartel came free, but Min Ordoña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Jacco van Dartel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Min Ordoña was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mario Balotelli might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruben Rolink. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mario Balotelli ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd minute, Gertjan Konterman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Rolink took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Balotelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
