Jorrin Artiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Arauz in the 24th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Alejandro Cedeño got away a dangerous shot. C.S.D Punta Ballena's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesar Gil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Jorrin Artiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Arauz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Haritz Cullar's late challenge caught a ORION F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haritz Cullar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, C.S.D Punta Ballena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haritz Cullar to maneuver through the defense. Jorrin Artiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Corelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half ORION F.C. were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Martel was the one to do the kick off. Jorrin Artiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Gil in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Felipe Arauz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorrin Artiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Martel in the 58th minute of play forced ORION F.C.'s goalkeeper Carman Jobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carman Jobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Martel, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Martel in the 81st minute of play forced ORION F.C.'s goalkeeper Carman Jobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
