Alfonso Dalmai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique De Diego hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Nemesio Ubendu in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carman Jobson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Ubendu got free with Carman Jobson in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ORION F.C.'s Carman Jobson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save ORION F.C. from getting a goal against them. After 42 minutes of play ORION F.C.'s Enrique De Diego was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After the first half ORION F.C. were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Nemesio Ubendu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucho Lema hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Nemesio Ubendu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carman Jobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carman Jobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Ubendu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Carman Jobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Ubendu in the 67th minute of the match. Erasmo Teyo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Ubendu in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carman Jobson saved ORION F.C. from getting behind. After 87 played minutes ORION F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Wang Yao Xing. A collision led to ORION F.C. getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Agustin Herrera hit a great ball. After 91 minutes of play, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Nemesio Ubendu made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carman Jobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Sportivo Fernet Branca getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Nemesio Ubendu hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sportivo Fernet Branca fans cheered their team off the field, for while ORION F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
