Bonifacio Paul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Pinar. Florian Secanell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Bonifacio Paul made a huge save. Jose Barea kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Bonifacio Paul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosario Encalada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Milian tried in the game's 30th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Bonifacio Paul. An annoying self made goal, 1-0. El Pinar's Gian-Carlo Caselles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Danel in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 38 minutes, Rigoberto Manso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Pinar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rigoberto Manso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bonifacio Paul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Secanell's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 46th minute of the match Ceferino Danel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gian-Carlo Caselles skillfully saved the ball. 48 minutes into the match, El Pinar's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Danel came free, but Gian-Carlo Caselles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florian Secanell made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmiro Dalmau during the 54th minute.
