The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rodolfo Guerau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteban Iigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Esteban Iigo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pepe Santoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotiris Vergos in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Jose Sugar got a free kick in the 21st minute. Justo Cordara made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Maximiliano Frans. With a little luck, Branco FC's Esteban Iigo got control of the ball when Rodolfo Guerau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Esteban Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jose Sugar in the 35th minute of the match. Rodolfo Gueraus short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Esteban Iigo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Branco FC's Esteban Iigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Branco FC from getting a goal against them. In the 45th minute, Rodolfo Guerau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sotiris Vergos to strike the kick off in the second half. ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Honorio Pierres quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Justo Cordara, made in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 58th minute ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ were awarded a corner. Exequiel Zeballos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Exequiel Zeballos to fire away a dangerous shot which Esteban Iigo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Branco FC defense, Rodolfo Guerau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Iigo. The Branco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Iigo should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Sugar in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Iigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Branco FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Exequiel Zeballos took the corner. In the 71st minute Exequiel Zeballos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Iigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gualterio Quexal fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Branco FC's protests and gave Gualterio Quexal a yellow card for diving instead. Gualterio Quexal kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Guerau notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Branco FC's Esteban Iigo. Esteban Iigo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 76 minutes into the match, ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s goalkeeper Pepe Santoro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sotiris Vergos. Esteban Iigo came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Jose Sugar. But to his dismay, Jose Sugar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 85 minutes into the match, ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Vergos came free, but Pepe Santoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Guerau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s attentive Celedonio Benitez managed to snatch the ball when Justo Cordara made a throw-in in the 96th minute of the game. Branco FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
