The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Esteban Iigo made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Braulio Eztebe sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, Branco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Eztebe came free, but Esteban Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Honorato Aureo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Vikingos FC's Segundo Balendin got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Braulio Eztebe came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Vikingos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braulio Eztebe couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Lázaro Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Branco FC's Esteban Iigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Branco FC from getting a goal against them. Esteban Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Balendin in the 29th minute of play. Segundo Balendins short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Esteban Iigo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Balendin in the 38th minute of play forced Branco FC's goalkeeper Esteban Iigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segundo Balendin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Esteban Iigo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Sotiris Vergos made the kick off in the second half. Filiberto Crispo kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Daunte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sotiris Vergos. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Branco FC's Geronimo Satordi got a free kick in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the game, Felipe Rozarius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Branco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vikingos FC the free kick. In the 94th minute, Felipe Rozarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Branco FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vikingos FC.
