Spectators: 7656 (Terracing: 5744, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rosario Encalada started the match with the kick off. When Cipriano Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Agua Santa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Pinho couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute, Téo Tróia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Agua Santa getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Emanuel Vianna hit a great ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Cipriano Pinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Pinar's Tomas Olazarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Rosario Encalada came free, but Tomé Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, El Pinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Manso to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Olazarra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano Pinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sustrai Falceto fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Pinar's protests and gave Sustrai Falceto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Agua Santa booed when El Pinar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sustrai Falceto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Téo Tróia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomas Olazarra. El Pinar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 43rd minute Cipriano Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Olazarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosario Encalada in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Pinho was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Pinho in the 51st minute of play forced El Pinar's goalkeeper Tomas Olazarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Borrero hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Agua Santa's Pedro Luís Arantes was substituted for Murilo Fernandes. After a rather tough play, El Pinar's Paulo Borrero got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Nico Quintal got a free kick in the 64th minute. When El Pinar's Rosario Encalada in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But to his dismay, Rosario Encalada quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 76thth minute of the game Cipriano Pinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Pinar's Tomas Olazarra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Olazarra made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Lúcio Viana sent off a good shot on target. Lixandro Rossell kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Rosario Encalada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Olavo Vianna got a free kick in the 84th minute. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosario Encalada in the 86th minute of play. Tomé Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Secanell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Borrero in the 92nd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Agua Santa players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Pinar.
