But to his dismay, José Carlos Velloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Bonifacio Paul was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Rafael Hoffmann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rafael Hoffmann really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Rafael Hoffmann took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bonifacio Paul. Bonifacio Paul dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilberto Chaves was slow to take the kick. During this time Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's players had a chance to rest. José Carlos Velloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bonifacio Paul having to make a save. Bonifacio Paul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Velloso in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's zone, Luiz Fabiano Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bonifacio Paul came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiano Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41stth minute of the game José Carlos Velloso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's Bonifacio Paul was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Carlos Velloso to strike the kick off in the second half. Bonifacio Paul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Velloso in the 51st minute of the match. After 52 minutes, Florentino Muno mouthed his way into the referee's book. Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Hoffmann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. José Carlos Velloso scored 5-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bonifacio Paul, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bonifacio Paul showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Carlos Velloso in the 81st minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Jacuitiba - FSCMZ's José Carlos Velloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bonifacio Paul made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Rafael Hoffmann's late challenge caught a Ψ MΞRTIAN FC Ψ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Hoffmann helped the player get up and apologised. Rafael Hoffmann hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
