The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Johnny Broman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åhus Absolut F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jim Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Dadá Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ravi Akiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Jim Lindholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pietro Sales. Dadá Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oskar Broberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Samuca Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Beatles's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuca Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Åhus Absolut F.C's Jim Lindholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Åhus Absolut F.C from getting a goal against them. Jim Lindholm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jacinto Damião showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 28 minute of play. After 38 played minutes Åhus Absolut F.C got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Broman. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teodoro Carioca was the one to do the kick off. Teodoro Carioca took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jim Lindholm. Jim Lindholm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Ricardo Cabral's late challenge caught a Åhus Absolut F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Cabral helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Åhus Absolut F.C booed when The Beatles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dadá Pereira came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Åhus Absolut F.C's Johnny Broman. But to his dismay, Johnny Broman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 61st minute Jan Bergsten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim Lindholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pietro Sales, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The Beatles's Dadá Pereira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save The Beatles from getting a goal against them. The Beatles's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Johnny Broman scored to the left of an out of position Dadá Pereira, making the score, 3-3. When Teodoro Carioca came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the The Beatles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodoro Carioca couldn't finish the play. Pietro Sales hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jim Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pietro Sales in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan Bergsten got a free kick in the 77th minute. Jacinto Damião received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jim Lindholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jim Lindholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Carioca in the 83rd minute of the match. Åhus Absolut F.C's Jim Lindholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Carioca in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, The Beatles's Samuca Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jim Lindholm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. Jim Lindholm came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by The Beatles's Ricardo Cabral. But to his dismay, Ricardo Cabral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Carioca in the 96th minute of play forced Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Jim Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åhus Absolut F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
