After 6 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Vo. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Club Atletico Juanita:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Amboy FC:s goal. Honorio Laffitte had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Benito Eutor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 12th match minute, Amboy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Vo to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Rodas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Valiente in the 15th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Bernebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atletico Juanita were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Amboy FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Leonardo Rodas took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Angelo Koldo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustavo Bernebe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Amboy FC's Zé Vo got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Valiente hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romulo Bernebe in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Laffitte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 minutes of play, Amboy FC's Zé Vo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Honorio Laffitte was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the game, Amboy FC's Zé Vo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Honorio Laffitte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Zeledon Enol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Gustavo Bernebe made a huge save. Zé Vo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Laffitte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. During the 38th minute of the match Zé Vo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zé Vo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Amboy FC's Zé Vo got a free kick in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Juanita's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Bernebe came free, but Honorio Laffitte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Alfredo Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Juanita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Rufio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorio Laffitte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Bernebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Higinio Lordi's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Juanita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Higinio Lordi helped the player get up and apologised. Higinio Lordi hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Amboy FC made a substitution. Jacobo Senio replaced Higinio Lordi. After a rather tough play, Amboy FC's Higinio Lordi got a free kick in the 49th minute. The Club Atletico Juanita players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Amboy FC were winning 0-2.

After 55 played minutes Club Atletico Juanita got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Benitez. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Saul Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amboy FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Saul Urbes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Laffitte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Benito Eutor. After a rather tough play, Amboy FC's Braulio Saturnin got a free kick in the 67th minute. A collision led to Club Atletico Juanita getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tiburcio Diagur hit a great ball. When Romulo Bernebe came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Amboy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Bernebe couldn't finish the play. Honorio Laffitte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Bernebe in the 76th minute of play. Honorio Laffitte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Bernebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Romulo Bernebe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dalmacio Javiar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Juanita's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Bernebe came free, but Honorio Laffitte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Bernebe in the 93rd minute of play forced Club Atletico Juanita's goalkeeper Honorio Laffitte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Amboy FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Atletico Juanita throughout the match.
