Alfred Kaczynski started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Grêmio Prudente booed when Kania Gostyń was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmund Chrobak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. José Vítor Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Nikodemski in the 22nd minute of the match. José Vítor Ramos made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Wasyl Nikodemski sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute Serginho da Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Chrobak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kania Gostyń's Filip Wietrzychowski got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Edgar Nowacki hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Hermínio Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmund Chrobak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ronaldão Diniz to make the kick off. Celsinho Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldão Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Chrobak having to interfere. José Vítor Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Nikodemski in the 88th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Grêmio Prudente's Hermínio Cunha seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hermínio Cunha the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Grêmio Prudente protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hermínio Cunha had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 94th minute, one of Grêmio Prudente:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Grêmio Prudente. The referee gave Kania Gostyń a penalty, 96 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Maksymilian Wolniewicz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Grêmio Prudente's José Vítor Ramos. 1-2. When the match was over Grêmio Prudente could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kania Gostyń throughout the match.
