The audience was convinced that Celsinho Neiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Bernebe was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. When Zé Vo came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Amboy FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Vo couldn't finish the play. Orlando de Castro hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. José Vítor Ramos came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Amboy FC's Zé Vo. But to his dismay, Zé Vo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hélder Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celsinho Neiva in the 34th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Bernebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, Hélder Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Braulio Saturnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vítor Ramos having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romulo Bernebe in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Vítor Ramos saved Grêmio Prudente from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Amboy FC's Zé Vo got a free kick in the 39th minute. After the first half Amboy FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Amboy FC's Jacobo Senio was substituted for Higinio Lordi. Amboy FC's Jani Como was substituted for Zé Vo. The wind increased when Ronaldão Diniz made the kick off in the second half. Grêmio Prudente's José Vítor Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio Prudente from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute of the match Amboy FC got a corner. Grêmio Prudente's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benito Eutor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Amboy FC's Jani Como got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 played minutes Amboy FC got a freekick which was hit by Jani La Marca. The crowd rose to their feet as Romulo Bernebe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José Vítor Ramos. That made the score 0-2 in the 67 minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Jani Como recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Vítor Ramos. Jani Como showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 74 minutes into the game, Hélder Tinoco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio Prudente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amboy FC the free kick. In the 74th minute, Hélder Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes, Serginho da Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grêmio Prudente and the Amboy FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Vítor Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Bernebe in the 86th minute of the match. Gustavo Bernebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmacio Javiar charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dalmacio Javiar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dalmacio Javiar kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Romulo Bernebe kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Jani Como had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Vítor Ramos. Grêmio Prudente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jani Como was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Amboy FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
