Mario Grana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rashad Werner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Lindholm having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Johnny Broman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åhus Absolut F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Broman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilie Marghescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilie Marghescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ravi Akiva in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Dep. Moron getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Rolando Aranda hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes Åhus Absolut F.C got a freekick which was hit by Rolf Beckeman. Rashad Werner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Jim Lindholm when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 27 played minutes Dep. Moron got a freekick which was hit by Mario Grana. After 29 played minutes Dep. Moron got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Palacios. Ilie Marghescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ravi Akiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mario Grana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Åhus Absolut F.C's Johnny Broman got a free kick in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the game, Rashad Werner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jim Lindholm. Rashad Werner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Dep. Moron's Ilie Marghescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abbe Alvin in the 43rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Rashad Werner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dep. Moron's supporters rose to their feet, but Rashad Werner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jim Lindholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

With an all-out effort, Åhus Absolut F.C's Ilie Marghescu threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ravi Akiva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Mario Grana came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Dep. Moron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Grana couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Dep. Moron's Ilie Marghescu got control of the ball when Ravi Akiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ravi Akiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ilie Marghescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Johnny Broman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åhus Absolut F.C and the Dep. Moron players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Johnny Broman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Åhus Absolut F.C's Rolf Beckeman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ilie Marghescu. That made the score 1-1 after 71 minutes of play. In the 75th minute of the match, Oskar Broberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ilie Marghescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rashad Werner in the 76th minute of play forced Åhus Absolut F.C's goalkeeper Jim Lindholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åhus Absolut F.C's Jim Lindholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rashad Werner in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dep. Moron's zone, Ravi Akiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilie Marghescu came out of the goal and Ravi Akiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Johnny Broman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jim Lindholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Grana in the 87th minute of the match. Régis Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johnny Broman got free with Ilie Marghescu in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Åhus Absolut F.C were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Dep. Moron to leave the ground with a draw.
