Spectators: 7728 (Terracing: 5797, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Omar Dobarral took the kick off in the first half of the match. Omar Dobarral kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Edinho Bueno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Higino Pessoa. Edinho Bueno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zezé Haaland in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willie Cabrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Willie Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zezé Haaland in the 23rd minute of the match. Willie Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermenegildo Teles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Neto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zezé Haaland in the 33rd minute of play forced Stowe City's goalkeeper Willie Cabrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willie Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Rijo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Willie Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Antas in the 39th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by Omar Dobarral. Reginald Fisher charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reginald Fisher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Stowe City's Reginald Fisher got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 44th minute of the match Severiano Prates shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Willie Cabrera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pinhote FC's zone, Omar Dobarral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higino Pessoa came out of the goal and Omar Dobarral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Dobarral came free, but Higino Pessoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Gardner in the 49th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zezé Haaland to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Pinhote FC got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Rijo. In the 53rd minute, Edinho Bueno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stowe City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 58 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by Nolan Hollis. Willie Cabrera acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Severiano Prates. Willie Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zezé Haaland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Willie Cabrera made a huge save. Omar Dobarral kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Zezé Haaland made a precise shot to the right of Willie Cabrera. Stowe City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Hermenegildo Teles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Willie Cabrera. That made the score 2-4 in the 83 minute of play. Zezé Haaland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Willie Cabrera made a huge save. Willie Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermenegildo Teles in the 96th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Nolan Hollis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Willie Cabrera acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 97th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Severiano Prates. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pinhote FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
