After a rather tough play, San Mauro A Mare FC's Aurelio Benarrivo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Willie Cabrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Marsili in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute San Mauro A Mare FC were awarded a corner. Cristiano Carulli went to the cornerflag to take it. After 16 played minutes San Mauro A Mare FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Rocco. Willie Cabrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carter Marsili in the 20th minute of the match. Edinho Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stowe City's Willie Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Pittelli in the 33rd minute of play. Cristiano Carulli struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Willie Cabrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Mauro A Mare FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Pittelli in the 35th minute of play forced Stowe City's goalkeeper Willie Cabrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willie Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Rocco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Willie Cabrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Carulli, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Cameron Cardona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stowe City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cameron Cardona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute Carter Marsili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willie Cabrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cameron Cardona kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Edinho Bueno made the kick off in the second half. Stowe City's Willie Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Pittelli in the 53rd minute of play. Anselmo Costacurta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edinho Bueno's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Willie Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carter Marsili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Stowe City's Edinho Bueno in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Mauro A Mare FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cameron Cardona during the 60th minute. When Cameron Cardona was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. Cameron Cardona kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Bernardo Rocco hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Ernesto Baresi hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes Stowe City got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Bueno. Aurelio Benarrivo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Willie Cabrera. Stowe City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 80 minutes into the game, when Diego Nanni put in a rough tackle. Diego Nanni kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edinho Bueno in the 84th minute of play forced San Mauro A Mare FC's goalkeeper Anselmo Costacurta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willie Cabrera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carter Marsili went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Cristiano Carulli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Willie Cabrera made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Carter Marsili took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Willie Cabrera to make any attempt to save it. San Mauro A Mare FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
