Kåre Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Vošický in the 5th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, FC Kopeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Vokurka to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Miroslav Halas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Birger Rosendal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Nikita Kráčmar to make any attempt to save it. Josef Vokurka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Kåre Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Birger Rosendal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INIXET BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kopeto the free kick. Kåre Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Vošický, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute Göran Biörling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikita Kráčmar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Kopeto's Nikita Kráčmar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save FC Kopeto from getting a goal against them. Ivo Vošický fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kåre Blom having to interfere. INIXET BK's Kåre Blom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdeněk Skalník in the 34th minute of play. Zdeněk Skalník received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kåre Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC Kopeto booed when INIXET BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göran Biörling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birger Rosendal hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. FC Kopeto's Václav Plášil was substituted for František Žiga. In the 47th minute, Birger Rosendal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Birger Rosendal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ivo Vošický shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of INIXET BK booed when FC Kopeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslav Halas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Wahlnäs in the 58th minute of play forced FC Kopeto's goalkeeper Nikita Kráčmar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th match minute, FC Kopeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Václav Plášil to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Birger Rosendal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikita Kráčmar. FC Kopeto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Birger Rosendal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Kåre Blom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zdeněk Skalník in the 63rd minute. In the 66th match minute, INIXET BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Örtendal to maneuver through the defense. After 67 played minutes INIXET BK got a freekick which was hit by Algot Cane. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Václav Plášil managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kopeto's supporters rose to their feet, but Václav Plášil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kåre Blom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Václav Plášil struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Kåre Blom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kopeto. After some careless play in the FC Kopeto defense, Birger Rosendal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nikita Kráčmar. The FC Kopeto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nikita Kráčmar should have stopped the shot. Karl-Johan Wahlnäs hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Tomáš Berousek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nikita Kráčmar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Johan Wahlnäs in the 89th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, FC Kopeto's Petr Fejtek seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Petr Fejtek the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Kopeto protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Petr Fejtek had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Petr Fejtek hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. FC Kopeto's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because INIXET BK had won, even though FC Kopeto had held more of the ball.
