Kirill Karamazov made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Necaettin Beksan sent off a good shot on target. In the 42nd minute Ubaldo Juvenal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Önder Değer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Kemal Kıvanç kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Necaettin Beksan made a kick off. Ubaldo Juvenal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Önder Değer made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Necaettin Beksan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hatayspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Necaettin Beksan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kirill Karamazov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 61st minute, Buğrahan Kutlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a long run with the ball, Derman İncirli did a trick in the 96th minute in front of Karamázov's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-1.
