Willie Cabrera was a little too slow when Nuno Marques got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-1. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edinho Bueno was the one to do the kick off. Willie Cabrera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Souto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Delta FS getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Andaka Mellon hit a great ball. Edinho Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Alípio Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edinho Bueno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Alípio Magalhães when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Delta FS players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
