In the 7th minute Dino Saraiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Floresta Club U18's Dino Saraiva, in the 7th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Floresta Club U18. Kåre Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Didi Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Didi Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kåre Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kåre Blom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Didi Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Karl-Johan Wahlnäs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hudson de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to INIXET BK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Birger Rosendal hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, INIXET BK's Birger Rosendal got a free kick in the 24th minute. Kåre Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Saraiva in the 25th minute of the match. After some careless play in the INIXET BK defense, Dino Saraiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kåre Blom. The INIXET BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kåre Blom should have stopped the shot. Floresta Club U18's Hudson de Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Floresta Club U18 from getting a goal against them. Kåre Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Baptista in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Floresta Club U18 booed when INIXET BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pär Odman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Bo Blanck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes, Floresta Club U18's Eusébio Baptista shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kåre Blom came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Floresta Club U18 reached it. 42 minutes into the match, Didi Mattos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kåre Blom. INIXET BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Didi Mattos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Birger Rosendal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Hudson de Souza made a huge save. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Didi Mattos made a kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 53 minutes into the game, when Bo Blanck put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of INIXET BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Floresta Club U18:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Mattos in the 55th minute of play forced INIXET BK's goalkeeper Kåre Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Floresta Club U18's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pär Odman was slow to take the kick. During this time INIXET BK's players had a chance to rest. When Birger Rosendal came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the INIXET BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birger Rosendal couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Didi Mattos got free with Kåre Blom in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kåre Blom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Saraiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Birger Rosendal in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hudson de Souza saved Floresta Club U18 from getting behind. Didi Mattos struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Kåre Blom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Floresta Club U18. Sven-Ove Strömbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, Floresta Club U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro Fantini to maneuver through the defense. Kåre Blom came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Club U18's Didi Mattos. But to his dismay, Didi Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 93 minutes into the match, Michel Bratt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hudson de Souza. Floresta Club U18's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michel Bratt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. When Per-Erik Bergfelt came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the INIXET BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Erik Bergfelt couldn't finish the play. Ingvar Örtendal kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. After having played for 100 minutes, Eusébio Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floresta Club U18's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Baptista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Floresta Club U18 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than INIXET BK throughout the match.
