Spectators: 7875 (Terracing: 5907, Seating: 1811, VIP seats: 157) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Peder Gernberg started the match with the kick off. Peder Gernberg hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Joel Tolsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonis Ikonomeas in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Eckegren in the 7th minute of play forced Green Horses's goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Rawa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roy Hamberg lost his temper 10 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BK Värdsholmen! Joel Tolsson had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Demis Mitsis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Joel Tolsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonis Ikonomeas in the 15th minute of play. Green Horses's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Demis Mitsis in the 17th minute. The corner led Green Horses's Demis Mitsis to fire away a dangerous shot which Joel Tolsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 18th minute, John Eckegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Green Horses's goal looked a bit too open when Håkan Eklund came free, but Wlodzimierz Rawa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, BK Värdsholmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peder Gernberg to maneuver through the defense. Green Horses's Wlodzimierz Rawa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Norberg in the 24th minute of play. Wlodzimierz Rawa came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by BK Värdsholmen's Håkan Eklund. But to his dismay, Håkan Eklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Joel Tolsson was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Antonis Ikonomeas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antonis Ikonomeas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Konstantinos D Artagnan hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Konstantinos D Artagnan was the one to do the kick off. BK Värdsholmen's Joel Tolsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Menegakis in the 51st minute of play. Håkan Eklund came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wlodzimierz Rawa could save by the left post. After 57 minutes, Peder Gernberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Värdsholmen and the Green Horses players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peder Gernberg hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When the match had been going on for 63 minutes, BK Värdsholmen's Kent Törnblom got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Wlodzimierz Rawa. Joel Tolsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vaggelis Menegakis in the 69th minute of the match. With a little luck, Green Horses's Wlodzimierz Rawa got control of the ball when John Eckegren tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Green Horses booed when BK Värdsholmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Brodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 72 played minutes, Green Horses's Demis Mitsis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Tolsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Green Horses reached it. Vaios Petridis hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Joel Tolsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Koukoulas, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Åke Ömans short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Wlodzimierz Rawa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 81 minutes into the game, Michalis Kapetanos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Green Horses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Värdsholmen the free kick. A collision led to Green Horses getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Michalis Kapetanos hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes, BK Värdsholmen's Tage Brodin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Rawa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BK Värdsholmen reached it. 90 minutes in the game, Roger Norberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wlodzimierz Rawa having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in BK Värdsholmen's zone, Antonis Ikonomeas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Tolsson came out of the goal and Antonis Ikonomeas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Green Horses supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BK Värdsholmen's performance. The match ended with a win for BK Värdsholmen.
