Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bogdan Siekierski got the match started through his kick off. After 4 played minutes KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Zacharczyk. Åke Öman hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Joel Tolsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Zacharczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes, Håkan Eklund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BK Värdsholmen and the KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes BK Värdsholmen got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Eklund. Joel Tolsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliusz Kostrzewski in the 15th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, John Eckegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute John Eckegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Zabrzeski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Pawel Zabrzeski got control of the ball when Håkan Eklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Håkan Eklund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pawel Zabrzeski. Håkan Eklund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Pawel Zabrzeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Gernberg in the 27th minute of play. BK Värdsholmen's John Eckegren suffered a concussion after 28 minutes and had to leave the field. BK Värdsholmen's Konrad Hammarström was substituted for John Eckegren. In the 29th match minute, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maciej Lisewski to maneuver through the defense. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Pawel Zabrzeski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Gernberg in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Siekierski in the 32nd minute of play forced BK Värdsholmen's goalkeeper Joel Tolsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Tolsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Zacharczyk in the 34th minute of the match. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peder Gernberg was the one to do the kick off. Pawel Zabrzeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Gernberg in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Öman came free, but Pawel Zabrzeski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Tolsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliusz Kostrzewski in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Zacharczyk came free, but Joel Tolsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaf Snäll kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Hieronim Domamir took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joel Tolsson. BK Värdsholmen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Ludomil Kazanowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joel Tolsson. Ludomil Kazanowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 68th minute, Bogdan Siekierski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joel Tolsson. The goal made the score 1-2. Joel Tolsson came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Bogdan Siekierski. But to his dismay, Bogdan Siekierski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Joel Tolsson was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Bogdan Siekierski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bogdan Siekierski really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Pawel Zabrzeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Gernberg in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Maciej Lisewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, BK Värdsholmen's Håkan Eklund got a free kick in the 88th minute. Aureliusz Kostrzewski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joel Tolsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. The KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
