Wlodzimierz Rawa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Bogdan Siekierski shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Green Horses's Wlodzimierz Rawa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Kostrzewski in the 29th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Bogdan Siekierski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Demis Mitsis was slow to take the kick. During this time Green Horses's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Demis Mitsis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pawel Zabrzeski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Pawel Zabrzeski got control of the ball when Dimitris Koukoulas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pawel Zabrzeski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apostolos Mavrokordatos in the 73rd minute. Omiros Kokkosalis's late challenge caught a KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Omiros Kokkosalis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute Konstantinos D Artagnan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Zabrzeski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Apostolos Mavrokordatos scored to the left of an out of position Pawel Zabrzeski, making the score, 1-3. The Green Horses supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Green Horses would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
