In the 2nd minute Pacho Mondejar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Rosio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Ponciano in the 6th minute of play forced Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Rosio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdika Philip in the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Fidel Bittor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Angua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Bittor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Carlos Suciu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Salud y República's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Emiliano Gaspard scored to the left of an out of position Juan Carlos Suciu, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pacho Mondejar in the 25th minute of play forced Angua FC's goalkeeper Leo Rosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu got control of the ball when Angelino Ponciano tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Salud y República getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Abdika Borbon hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Angelino Ponciano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juan Carlos Suciu, 2-0. The supporters of Salud y República booed when Angua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Federigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Angua FC's zone, Pacho Mondejar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Rosio came out of the goal and Pacho Mondejar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdika Philip stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fidel Bittor made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Salvador Errapel immediately put the ball in play. Leo Rosio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdika Philip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Carlos Suciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Gaspard, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th match minute, Salud y República was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nisio Riba to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Angua FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Eduardo Blasco hit a great ball. Leo Rosio came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Salud y República's Pacho Mondejar. But to his dismay, Pacho Mondejar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Pacho Mondejar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leo Rosio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Adulfo Teresa kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Salud y República getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Berto Calatayud hit a great ball. With his leg Leo Rosio managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Salud y República's Pacho Mondejar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pacho Mondejar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Leo Rosio made a huge save. In the 95th match minute, Angua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Bittor to maneuver through the defense. Leo Rosio came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Salud y República's Pacho Mondejar. But to his dismay, Pacho Mondejar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Salud y República's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
