Lúcio Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacho Mondejar in the 34th minute of play. After 35 minutes, Rey Guillotin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salud y República and the Arrebimba o Malho SLB players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rey Guillotin kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdika Philip to make the kick off.
