Juan Carlos Suciu came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Plan B's Jens Westerberg. But to his dismay, Jens Westerberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Juan Carlos Suciu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jens Westerberg went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Plan B's Folke Flink in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salud y República's goalie prevented a goal. Juan Carlos Suciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Nikkinen, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Folke Flink scored 0-3 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juan Carlos Suciu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Leif Västberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adulfo Teresa in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Folke Flink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Suciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Robin Nilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the game, Salud y República's Pacho Mondejar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leif Västberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 33 minutes into the game, Pacho Mondejar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salud y República's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plan B the free kick. After 34 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Pacho Mondejar. Juan Carlos Suciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Westerberg in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute Abdika Philip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Västberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rey Guillotin lost his temper 47 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Rey Guillotin hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. 49 minutes into the match, Plan B's Michael Stipe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Carlos Suciu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Salud y República players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Plan B were winning 1-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pacho Mondejar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens Westerberg in the 54th minute of play. Leif Västberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pacho Mondejar in the 58th minute of play. Juan Carlos Suciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Flink, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens Westerberg got free with Juan Carlos Suciu in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jens Westerbergs short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Juan Carlos Suciu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Leif Västberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adulfo Teresa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes, Michael Stipe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plan B and the Salud y República players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Michael Stipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Jens Westerberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan Carlos Suciu. That made the score 1-4 in the 70 minute of play. Plan B's Bennvar Nikkinen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 76th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Salud y República from getting a goal against them. Salud y República's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Folke Flink scored to the left of an out of position Juan Carlos Suciu, making the score, 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Westerberg in the 82nd minute of play forced Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Plan B were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Salud y República's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michael Stipe took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Folke Flink got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Juan Carlos Suciu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Pacho Mondejar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Salud y República from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Plan B booed when Salud y República was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdika Borbon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdika Philip hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Michael Stipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plan B's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Stipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th match minute, Salud y República was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jago Barrientos to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens Westerberg got free with Juan Carlos Suciu in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 96 minutes into the match, Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bennvar Nikkinen. Juan Carlos Suciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens Westerberg in the 98th minute of play. When the match was over Plan B could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Salud y República throughout the match.
