Lajos Vásárhelyi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid Cavalcante, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Olivedos's Patrick Miranda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Olivedos from getting a goal against them. Sándor Vermes might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Miranda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sándor Vermes ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the match, Green Zombies's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Mendes came free, but Lajos Vásárhelyi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Deivid Cavalcante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lajos Vásárhelyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Albertinho Cavalcante notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Green Zombies's Lajos Vásárhelyi. Lajos Vásárhelyi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lajos Vásárhelyi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dário Viana in the 31st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoltán Csonka got free with Patrick Miranda in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lajos Vásárhelyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Cavalcante in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Albertinho Cavalcante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lajos Vásárhelyi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Pedrinho Prata's late challenge caught a Green Zombies's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrinho Prata helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Olivedos's Pedrinho Prata got a free kick in the 44th minute. Patrick Miranda made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Dániel Tábori sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.
